Pietra Dura (Carving):
The Taj Mahal’s delicate carvings use a special Persian style called pietra dura. The beautiful, delicate flower vines are made from 28 different precious gems and stones, including sapphire, emerald, and more.
Unique Architecture:
Its construction is Symmetrical. That is, if this structure is cut exactly in half from top to bottom (imaginary), the left and right sides will appear exactly equal in size. To protect this, 4 towers have been built at all four corners, which are slightly tilted outwards.
Color-changing:

Witnessing sunrise at the Taj Mahal is an unforgettable experience. You will see that white marble is turned into soft pink with gold shimmer on it due to the soft rays of the sun.

- The time is between 8:30 PM and 12:30 AM.
- It is closed every Friday and during the holy month of Ramadan.
